The regional intermunicipal conference on youth entrepreneurship training was held on Tuesday, 8 May in Vranje. The event was organized by Junior Achievement Serbia and CHF International/Srbija under the sponsorship of the Municipality of Vranje.

Conference participants reached the conclusion that sustainable development is impossible without training young people and preparing them for entering the world of business and entrepreneurship. Vranje Major, Mr. Miroljub Stojčić said that it was necessary to establish a high-quality partnership between local authorities, educational institutions and businesses in order to continue the program of economic training intended for the young in Jablanički and Pčinjski Districts.

During the conference, four school-based businesses from Jablanički and Pčinjski Districts and a number of the best students taking part in Junior Achievement Serbia showed their accomplishments. For four years now, CHF International/Srbija has been supporting the Junior Achievement Serbia program aimed at providing the young living in the two districts in southern Serbia with business training.
